Playdate : Bird Watching with SIMPATI #GoDiscover

Back in April, Kitty (my crafter friend from www.kittymanu.com) and her friends at SIMPATI were organizing a very fun Sunday Morning getaway called #GoDiscover Bird Watching. We went to the National Monument's Park to spot the birds on the trees using binoculars and tele-macro lens! Here are some pictures from the event, below:

1st Phase: Everyone carried their binoculars and walking around, trying to spot the bird.

2nd Phase: We got to spot some of the birdies up in the trees! With helps from Burung Indonesia volunteers, we try to identify them using the given bird-type cards.

3rd Phase: We spread our picnic rug, sit on the grasses and draw the bird with water paints!

I've always loved spending time outside and learning more about the nature.

Kegiatan ini diadakan pada 11 April 2015 dan diikuti oleh para pemenang dari digital activity @simPATI. Setelah berkeliling Monas, para peserta juga 'ditantang' untuk menggambarkan burung-burung yang sudah mereka temui dengan menggunakan cat air.
