How To Photograph: Your Dogs

Last time I was sharing some behind-the-scenes picture of me and my #OOTD photo-taking. It’s been always a fun experience, and quite challenging. But recently one of my follower on Instagram popped up a question: How do you take your dog’s pictures?

Well. For you who don’t follow me on either Instagram or Twitter, you might not find these faces very familiar:

Let me introduce you to my dearest boys, Goldy and Vodka. They’re my 8-and-5 years old Golden Retrievers, and basically my everything. I took their pictures a lot when they were smaller, and now once they’ve grown up so big I kinda have to trick them a little bit so I can get some proper pictures (of them, being nice and sit still).

I was quite inspired by this video : http://www.bit.ly/shootmybest - where apparently people are waaaay crazier than me while taking photos!

Photographers fight to capture the masterpiece. Other recommended video. "Shoot My Best - Shoot the Swan's Best": http://youtu.be/gSi9w0VS0O4 "Whatever it takes, I'll take the best shot of that swan!" "Shoot My Best - Functions for Your Best Shot:" http://youtu.be/9_CJ8Kllimc Introducing the Functions and Technologies which supports the making of "Shoot My Best".

So here I’ll do my part. I will share you some not-so-pretty pictures of what happened behind every doggies photo I posted online. Ready? Let’s start.

1. GET SOME TOYS

Stuffed doll is always worked. Especially Unicorn dolls.

2. GET SOME CHAIR

Which will give you more freedom to decide the composition without getting interrupted by physical excitement from the dogs. Really.

3. LAY DOWN...

.... AND EVEN MORE DOWN!

<<<THAT DOUBLE-CHIN THOUGH>>>

Here's from another angle. I'm a pro.

4. FAKE IT TILL' YOU MAKE IT

That statement screams for one thing: SELFIES FOR YOUR LIFE! (and to wrest a little, I guess)

Here are the results from the afternoon shot above:

Photographing your pet can be challenging, but it’s always worth to try. Keeping precious moment is the ultimate reason of why people do such funny poses, waiting for such a long shooting hours, and get wet. All of those for priceless captured moment in return, one photo at a time.

Do you have pets at home?
How do you take their pictures? :)
