HANDMADE // INTRODUCTION TO AEVAL

This is the first weekend that actually means like a real weekend for me, after quite a while. The schedule was pretty rough since a couple months ago and I barely could remember when was the last time I got up late to no early-appointment or rushing meals. It feels good, and even better, it feels like a blessing. In which I relate to the arrival of a lovely package in my door several days before, that comes from a new friend that I haven't meet in person - Nataly, the lady behind AEVAL.

AEVAL is an independent accessories brand that caught my eyes and heart by the time I heard about it's character. The name "AEVAL" itself is taken from a Fairy Goddess name, a statement for showing the designer's love to fairytales and wonderland. Instead of making multiple kinds of jewelries that only stands for its design, AEVAL offers a set of memorabilia that were made based on different stories. Each of its design has a background story that later on is being translated into playful final product, uniquely. You can see that the batch is presenting a Halloween-themed bracelets, with cute handmade charms that ranged from an adorable Voodoo doll, broken Teddy bear and pastel mummy!

As a true mellow soul, I always have a soft spot for basic and dusty tone. These black, maroon and creme bracelets are definitely my signature! I love the harmless spooky looks on each of the charms, and the little luxurious touch from original Swarovski crystal. Nothing too much and just enough dose to keep the casualities.

One of my favorite design is this Sweet Mummy. Comes in a light-pink tone, the bracelet reminds me of nothing scary but a lovely little creature, smiling happily to me. Quoted is the story behind it:

"Intended to everyone who always try to beat their fear and find a beautiful things in every moment. Remember when we watched a scary movie and can’t sleep after that? The things I do are hide under my blanket then think about unicorn and wonderland, until I fall asleep... This bracelet is designed for the courageous."

Growing up, we sometimes forget about those childhood memories that used to be wonderful. The AEVAL designs for me are personal reminders of how my younger years was filled with magical things and radical imagination. Now why can't we be young again, and light the inner child soul inside?

If you're feeling the same about the need of reminiscing childhood in a casual adult way, do get to know AEVAL a bit more by visiting their Official Blog and Instagram (@aeval.online) accounts.

Tomorrow I'll be hosting a giveaway on my Instagram, so stay updated so you don't miss a chance to win some of the wonderful AEVAL designs for your own. See you!
